Eye Beyond Sight Interview

. Can you give us an update on what is going on with the band these days?

We started to work on the new material actively. We have many rehearsals and as well try to arrange some local shows and festivals. Hopefully everything will go smoothly and then we can have a new record in the beginning of next year

How would you describe the musical sound of the new album and how it
differs from previous releases?
Well the sound is better than on the first record. As well the 4 years between the first and the second record allowed that the studio implemented some new techniques regarding recording etc.The sound of the new album is much more heavier and specially the guitarsound is one of the biggest difference between the two records.

What are some of the lyrical topics and subjects the band explores
with the new release?

The main topics are the nowadays, current social happenings, christianity etc- but we have for instance one song about the love as well (  Our texts are clear I think to everybody who read them at least once.

What is the meaning and inspiration behind the bands name?

Well yes, we can consider that with our lyrics we try to teach people to read between the lines, in other words, to have an additional “eye beyond sight” ( hehe) that allows to see more alternatives and solutions than the  massmedia tells to them. Clearly, we want people to think!

What are some of the best shows that the band has played so far and
how would you describe your stage performance?

Well, the most important moments so far that I point out  was  to play with Sepultura in 2009.  We grew up while listening them and other bands as well which made us to fully admire them.  They all are really great musicians with full of experience and as well very friendly guys. Regarding our stage performance we have a certain amount of energy when we are on stage and this is what we want to share with the audience.

Do you have any touring plans for the future?

We dont have now exact dates but we are working on it.

On a worldwide level how has the feedback been to your music by
extreme metal fans?

The opinions varies but mostly we can talk about positive reviews, and opinions. For some people our songs are weird in composition but we think it is just because they did not face it till now.

Are there any other projects besides this band or is this a full time
line up?

Well our bassman is playing in another band but besides that it is a full time line-up.

What direction do you see the music heading into on future releases?

Good question. The music generally if we do not speak only about metal is heading to a direction that we really do not like at all. New pop idols created by music industry and focusing more on the show and dance part on their shows(playback) than on music itself makes us really angry. About metal scene we faced some bands that had fair record (digital drums etc) and when we saw them live they was not able to present it on a way as it is on their record which is a huge mistake. Besides that there are many good bands but nowadays so many duties relies on the band itself that it is really hard to stay on the scene and head forward.

What are some bands or musical styles that have influenced your
music and also what are you listening to nowadays?

Sepultura, Slayer, Death, Pantera, Machine Head, Biohazard, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Moby Dick, Pokolgép, Vader and many more are those that had influence on our music ……and we are listening many more bands on the scene like Cataract, Behemoth, Chimaira, Trivium, Children of Bodom, etc

Outside of music what are some of your interests?

We all like one of the most popular sports on the world and that is getting drunk. We use to practice this usually after shows and whenever situation requires. As well other interests are reading,  fotball, basketball, playing cards etc

Any final words or thoughts before we wrap up this interview?

We want to thank you all the support and as well to the readers that they found a time to get through on our short interview. We hope you enjoyed it . Thank you all and Cheers!
